Mosque visit

Thursday 23rd March | 2 comments

This week 5L and 5B enjoyed a visit a mosque in Bradford in connection with their RE topic this term entitled “What do I know about Islam?” We were made very welcome as we were shown around the mosque. They listened incredibly well as the Imam told them about the Quran and some of the prophets (as we have been doing in lessons). The children asked some excellent questions and were very well behaved.

This looks like a really interesting trip. I think it is great to have the opportunity to learn about different religions and places of worship.
Hope you enjoyed your visit Y5.

I am delighted that our children get a really thorough programme of religious education including visits like this and those to the synagogue, church and gurdwara.
